Europa 1400 Manager#

Install community patches and fixes for Europa 1400: The Guild (Die Gilde) with a few clicks, change game settings and back up your savegames. The manager finds your game, identifies the exact version and only offers what fits.

What it does#

  • Finds and identifies your game: Steam, GOG and CD installations; edition, version, language and store, exactly by checksum for known versions.
  • Recommended setup in one click: the fixes and settings the community recommends for your exact game version.
  • Installs patches from their official sources; what a patch needs comes along, conflicting patches are refused. Files a patch replaces are backed up and restored when you uninstall it; a failed installation is rolled back.
  • Game settings: display mode, sound, multiplayer name and address, every other game.ini value, and a repair for the game's paths after moving the game folder.
  • Savegames: back up and restore with one click.
  • Starts the game with the Direct3D 8 or the classic renderer.

Patches and game versions are kept in the Europa 1400 Database, so new patches show up without updating the manager.
